Had a great holiday, beautiful place, lovely views and good location for access to all historical places. We enjoyed exploring local areas, getting lost occasionally and found the people very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the Osteria restaurant in nearby Borgo A Mozzano”.

We’ve had a great time. Lovely house – well equipped. Everyone has been really friendly – one man gave us masses of fruit and vegetables! We really loved the peace and the beautiful views. Apart from 2 mornings with thunderstorms it has been scorching – we’ve both got fantastic tans! We liked the pool at Bagni Di Lucca, the beautiful beaches at Viareggio and Pisa were stunning. Village Pizzeria was excellent and when we asked for ice cream the waitress said yes and ran along the road to the other bar for it! Great service!”

Thank you, we have had a wonderful holiday. Travelled to Sienna in the South to Maranello(Galleria Ferrari – well worth a visit!) in the North. We found everyone very friendly and helpful in the village. Love Lucca and spent many an hour cycling around the town and walls. The house is wonderful and has everything one could possibly want”.

Weather was superb and the house lovely – had everything we needed plus more! Thoroughly enjoyed checking out the local restaurants – great value (40/50 euros for 3 course meal & wine for 2). Ideal for sightseeing – managed to go to Florence, Pisa & San Gimignano all within the week and of course Lucca, which is absolutely delightful.
